MEET OUR TEAM

Roman Dihtiarov
Founder of Emergency Appliance Repair
Lead Technician
Roman Dihtiarov is a certified appliance technician with over 12 years of professional experience. Originally from Ukraine, Roman began his career working hands-on with major household appliances and refrigeration systems, building deep diagnostic expertise and a reputation for quality and precision.
Roman also holds a degree in engineering, which allows him to go far beyond standard part replacement. He specializes in complex technical repairs that require precise calculations and system modifications, such as eliminating refrigerant leaks by redesigning and adapting sealed systems when necessary. His knowledge bridges hands-on fieldwork with theoretical engineering principles, making him uniquely qualified in both diagnostics and high-level restoration.
Before immigrating to the United States, Roman worked under a formal employment contract as a technician for Helion AG, one of Switzerland’s leading solar energy companies. There, he was responsible for the installation and servicing of high-voltage solar energy systems up to 1500 volts. This international experience sharpened his technical skills, particularly in electrical safety, precision installation, and working within strict European quality standards.
In 2023, Roman relocated to the U.S. through the Uniting for Ukraine (U4U) program. He settled in North Carolina and founded Emergency Appliance Repair LLC, now serving residential and commercial clients across both North and South Carolina.
Roman is also a designated subcontractor for LG, performing factory-authorized compressor replacements, and a service partner for Dukers, providing in-warranty technical support for their commercial equipment. What sets Roman apart is his commitment to restoration over replacement. He is one of the few technicians in the region who performs component-level electronic repairs, including control board diagnostics and soldering — helping clients avoid expensive part replacements and reducing e-waste.
